There is something odd going on here, but I can't reproduce it. We'll see if it happens again with the release candidate.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem on my server:
Parallels Plesk 9.2.1
Betriebssystem Linux 2.6.18-028stab060.8
CPU GenuineIntel, Intel(R) Pentium(R)

Some days ago:
Duplicate package channel://components.ez.no/Graph-1.4.2 found
Duplicate package channel://components.ez.no/Graph-1.4.3 found
install failed

Nowadays:
Duplicate package channel://components.ez.no/ConsoleTools-1.5.1 found
Duplicate package channel://components.ez.no/ConsoleTools-1.5.2 found
install failed

Also refer to: http://ez.no/developer/forum/install_configuration/noob_having_trouble_installing_pear_and_ezcomponentsurl

Hope you can find a solution soon.

I also tried to install the packaged release per download.
"could not extract the package.xml" .... invalid or missing package file"
As my php doesn't support tar.bz2 I have unzipped and zipped as tar before. Don't think that this is the reason ;-)

Any help appreciated. Pls, let us know, if you need more information....
Markus

It's an issue with the PEAR installer that doesn't resolve dependencies correctly always, resulting in wanting to install two different versions. The 2009.1.1 release package solves this with a workaround.
